A: The average time it takes to set up, record and mix a well-rehearsed band is about 3 hours per song. Of course, if the song is not completed and the band is not rehearsed, it can take considerably longer to get the song completed and a good band performance recorded!

A: The time it takes to record and mix a song using MIDI depends on the number of parts and the complexity of the musical arrangement. Usually it takes from 6 hours to 12.5 hours at the most.

Q: What exactly do I get when I purchase recording time?

A: You are renting the use of the studio and hiring the services of the recording engineer.

Q: If I purchase a block of hours, do I have to use it all at once?

A: No. You can schedule your studio time any way you wish. However, recording as intensively as possible is recommended as this keeps set-up time to a minimum.
